翻译新概念读后感读了翻译新概念后，我又对翻译有了进一步的了解。
翻译同一个民族的文明程度密切相关。中国翻译事业任重而道远。介绍外国同对外介绍中国同样急迫。
翻译是人类语言活动的重要组成部分，也是使不同语言的部落、民族、国家之间互相交流、互相沟通、互相学习和借鉴不可缺的手段。因此，如果说先进的思想和科学技术能够飞越国界，那么翻译则是这种飞跃的翅膀。
翻译标准应满足以下三个基本要求：（1）正确解读原文的信息，并精确地把原文的真实信息转换成译入语的语言表达；
（2）译文应保持通畅、易懂、使读者产生阅读美感；
（3）译文的语言水平应当不低于原文的语言水平，包括语言的风格。
在翻译实践中，有全译、节译、编译之分。相比之下，编译的自由度大，可以允许对原文中无关紧要的细节描述或内容重复的叙述进行删节，也可以对原文中的语言错误或表达不当的地方进行修正，以免以讹传讹，但必须始终沿着原文的信息主线进行编译，不能“乱编”。
翻译标准不管如何表达，都应该响亮的提醒译者：翻译是一种“双重服务”的行业。一是服务于原文作者，译者应尽自己的智慧与技能把原文作者的思想成果介绍给译入语的作者；
二是服务于译入语的作者，帮助读者理解并欣赏原文。译者所面临的这两个“上帝”谁都不能冒犯，不然翻译自然就失去了存在的合理性。
翻译标准是理性的，翻译实践是感性的。所以，不同的译者在翻译同一篇文章时往往会有不同的翻译角度，译文不可能相同。同时，要完全达到翻译标准是一件非常困难的事情。对于大多数译文来说，只能说是最大化地接近翻译标准。但是用客观的标准来衡量是完全可以判断出优劣、长短、得失、是非的。其尺度主要是：（1）对原文的理解与译文转达准确与否；
（2）译文的选词恰当与否；
（3）表达得明白、流畅与否；
（4）译文语言文的风格相符与否。
总之，翻译的过程是一个理解到表达的过程，换句话说也就是在原文作者与译文读者之间构成理解之桥的过程。显而易见，译者对原文的理解是整个问题的关键，如果没有译者对原文的真正理解，这个沟通原文作者和译文读者的桥很可能成为陷阱。只有深刻而全面地理解了原作的精神和作者意图，才可能发幽探微，穷其毫末，然后译出其意、其神、其情、其声。正如丰子恺先生所说：“要是翻译充分发挥效能，有一个必要条件，但是必须翻译的又正确，又流畅，使读者读了全然理解，又全不费力。要达到这个问题的目的，我认为有一种办法：翻译者必须深深地理解原作，把原作吸到肚子里，然后用本国的语言来传达给本国人。用一个譬喻来说，好比把原文嚼碎了，吞下去、消化了，然后再吐出来。”

读《母语与翻译》有感
《母语与翻译》跨越文化与翻译研究的限制，以母语语言背景为突破口，重新审视翻译研究的过程和结果。作者李美博士集中探讨了二语习得中的母语行为、《红楼梦》两译本比较下的母语对峙、翻译名家的译作与母语优势、文体翻译中的母语语体等英汉互译中的典型及疑难现象，将理论阐述与实证分析紧密结合，开辟了母语与翻译研究的新视角。该书对我的启发主要体现在以下三个方面：
一、作者对比分析了中国学生和留学生对翻译的看法和翻译实践，对学习如何翻译有很大的指导意义。作者分别在源语为母语和译语为母语两种情形下分析了中外学生的翻译实例及其在翻译实践中的表现。如中国学生要注意的有否定句式中的否定转移、被动句的处理、四字格的正确运用及人名的翻译。结合自身实践，这确实是我在翻译中容易忽视、不好处理的问题。这其中的大部分问题无疑是由于母语语言环境的影响：母语在词义层面、语序层面、句子结构层面、语态层面和思维层面影响着译者。这就是说，首先在翻译之前，译者就要注意词汇的积累，特别是对词汇的理解。作者特别强调：翻译水平尽管受到词汇量的制约但却不会随着词汇量的增大而提高，重要的是对词汇的正确理解。然后在翻译中，译者要尽量减小母语的负面影响，不能“望词生义”，要注意调整语序和句子结构，语言的理解或表达要符合外语的思维方式。简而言之，就是要减小母语的束缚，调动外语的能动性。
二、《红楼梦》两译本比较研究以译者母语为导向，从现象到本质研究译本的差异，使母语在翻译中的决定性作用一目了然。作者在该书的第三部分中以《红楼梦》的两个公认一流的全译本——杨宪益、戴乃迭夫妇的合译本和戴维·霍克斯与约翰·明夫德的合译本为研究对象，主要从修辞翻译的角度，通过剖析两个译本表达方式的不同，透视并追溯译者的母语在其中的角色和作用。通过作者选取的大量具有代表性的具体译例，我惊讶地发现，虽然自身翻译能力有限，但似乎能在两种译文中分出“优劣”来。只是受自身翻译水平和所掌握的翻译理论的限制，不能如作者般分析得透彻和有理有据，甚至说不出个所以然来，就觉得哪个要“好”一些。这也许是一种语言本能，“鉴赏者”本身的翻译水平远不及自认为“较差”的那个，但经过比较，甚至一眼就能看出孰“优”孰“劣”。当然，这里的“好”“差”“优”“劣”，有一定的个人倾向，而且也不能绝对地说哪位译
者的的翻译水平要高一些。比如，在该部分选取的大部分译例中，杨译在灵活度和可读性等方面不如霍译，这除了前者外语运用能力的因素外，还因为他想要尽可能地忠实于原文，使原著艺术风貌在异国文化与文字中发扬光大。这体现了译者对母语的尊重与维护，对母语文化的欣赏和珍惜。这不也正好反映了母语及其文化对译者的影响吗？而从难以摆脱的误译现象来看，很明显以源语为母语的杨先生拥有理解上的优势，误译也就要少一些。因此，我的理解是，翻译工作最好是由中外译者合作完成，源语为母语的译者主要负责理解，译语为母语的译者主要负责表达。
三、译例的选择不仅具有很强的代表性，帮助我理解作者的分析，同时也激发了我阅读该书的兴趣。选取我最喜欢的几个译例摘录如下：

这是一个属于成人的童话，属于曾经有过童心的成年人的童话，孩子们是无法体会小王子彻骨的忧伤和爱的沉重的。他们也不应该过早地体会这些，他们应该在阳光明媚的世界里享受着快乐的时光。这与其说是一个童话，不如说是一个悲剧。童话里的主人公总是像白雪公主或灰姑娘一样，幸福美满地生活。而忧伤的小王子却在发见爱的真谛后死在沙漠里。
小说的情节很简单，主要是从“我”的角度讲述小王子的游历过程。因为一朵美丽而娇气的玫瑰，小王子离开了一直平静地生活着的B-612小游星，他先后游历了六个星球，在这些星球上，他遇到一些他觉得很不可理逾的大人，狂妄自大的国王，财迷心窍的商人、迂腐的点灯人……于是他不断的感慨，“大人的世界确实奇怪。”在这里作者以小王子的孩子式的眼光，透视出这些大人们的空虚、盲目和愚妄，也道出了成人的孤独寂寞、无可适从的处境。
最后他来到了地球。在这里他遇到了一只狐狸，这只狐狸给他解决了那朵娇气的小玫瑰给他带来的对爱的疑惑，使他明白，爱意味着责任，意味着慈悲，有了爱(广义的爱)生活里的一切才有了意义。狐狸告诉他：“对于你使之驯顺的东西，你永远有责任。你要对你的玫瑰尽责。”“如果你使我驯顺了，我的生活就会充满阳光，欢快起来。我将会听出一种与众不同的脚步声。…….你有着一头金发，于是，一旦你使我驯顺了，这将变得妙不可言!金色的小麦将使我回想起你来。于是我就会爱上穿行麦浪的风声……”爱使人懂得了忧伤和痛苦，同时使人摆脱了孤独寂寞，使生活变得有充满情趣和意义。正象小王子对“我”说的：“这就象花一样。如果你爱上了一朵生长在一颗星星上的花，那么夜间，你看着天空就感到甜蜜愉快，所有的星星上都好象开着花。”于是作者明白，这世界上，一只小绵羊吃掉一朵花儿，是没什么大不了的事，但对于小王子来说，“那就如同所有的星星顷刻间都熄灭。”
