First, when make the decision on what to do, many business people doing some specific work think about not only the money, but also whether the product will be environment friendly. For instance, fro the boss of the paper factory, when the factory producing papers, it should decide which type of they should use. Our planet has already been very polluted, cutting down the trees which grow extremely slow will do great harm to the earth. While some types of trees are planted specially just in use of making papers, so that choice will be better than cutting down the tree growing in the wild to make papers for free.
Furthermore, when doing the business, businessmen also care about whether it will be useful for the consumer. If the product do harm to the individuals, even though the price is cheaper, it won’t have any market. On the contrary, if the product is good for health, no matter how expensive it is, it will also has consumers. Taking the example of milk powder event, the Sanlu milk powder contain something bad to the infants, even though it is much cheaper than the other product in the market, but considering the health of babies, mothers would rather choose the milk powder which is good for their babies even though this type of product is much more expencive.

For instance, when the boss of a paper factory decides to purchase a new machine to process wood into paper, he may face two types of machines. The cheaper type pollutes the air and water but saves money for him; the more expensive type can produce paper with eco-friendly byproducts. If the boss is wise, he will choose the latter, because he knows the cheaper one will damage the environment and he himself will eventually become unhealthy living in that environment. What good will his money bring him if he does not have health?
Furthermore, wise businessmen understand the difference between the long term and the short term. Near sighted men focus on the profit their products can bring to them in the short term, while wise people focus on the quality of their products that can generate sustained revenue in the long run. For example, The Three Deer and The New Hope are both milk companies in China. They used to have about the same market shares. However, 5 years ago things started to change. The Three Deer planned to sell low quality milk in order to bring down the cost and get more profits, meanwhile The New Hope still provided high quality milk for its customers. Within a short time, The Three Deer did make more money than The New Hope, but later more and more consumers switched brand from The Three Deer to The New Hope, because they felt being cheated by The Three Deer. Now, The New Hope have more than doubled its market share and The Three Deer is on the edge of bankruptcy.
In conclusion, wise businessmen understand that money is not the only thing they should focus on, and instead, they also care about other important things such as the environment and product quality. (394 words)
