I’m going to introduce you a book named A Song of Ice and Fire.It is a series of epic fantasy novels written by American novelist and screenwriter George R.R.Martin.Martin began the first volume of the series, A Game of Thrones, in 1991.He published it in 1996.Martin gradually extended his originally intended trilogy to seven volumes, the fifth of which, A Dance with Dragons, took him five years to write before its publication in 2011.Martin"s work on his sixth, The Winds of Winter, is still underway.
The story of A Song of Ice and Fire takes place on the fictional continents Westeros and Eos, with a history of thousands of years.The point of view of each chapter in the story is a limited perspective of an aortment of characters that grows from nine, in the first, to thirty-one by the fifth of the novels.Three predominant stories interweave: a dynastic war among several families for control of Westeros; the rising threat of the dormant cold supernatural Others dwelling beyond an immense wall of ice on Westeros" northern border; and the ambition of Daenerys Targaryen, the exiled daughter of a king murdered in a civil war shortly before her birth, to return to Westeros with her fire-breathing dragons and claim her rightful throne.

My interst in Mechanical engineering throughout my education has led me to apply for a Higher Education course in these areas.Mechanical engineering is the foundation of industry.It plays a key role in the national economy.It’s broad field including general engineering, aeronautical, chemical and nuclear engineering, etc.It was with this fact in mind that I decided to choose mechanical engineering as the major field of study for both undergraduate and graduate career at Harbin Institute of Technology.
During five years of study at Zhejiang Sci-Tech university and nearly two years study at HIT, I completed a total of 17 courses in undergraduate study, 36 courses in graduate study.The major courses that interested me most included: Theoretical Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Elasticity and Plasticity Mechanical Analysis of Plastic Deformation Procees, Theory of Metal Forming, Computer Language and Programming, Mechanical Design, and so on.
During my undergraduate years, I built a solid foundation in the Basics of Precision Measurement, Material Science, Precision Equipment Engineering, and other related areas, earning excellent academic records.In addition, I made concentrated effort in developing a strong ability in lab research, especially during my undergraduate senior studies and during my Master"s Program.
Besides lab research, I also did part-time work with a company, involved in the research and development of products of micro-mechanic systems, database, and the GIS.With these work experiences, I developed an ability to conduct research work in corporal environments, and also attained a keen insight into the practical and commercial sides of micro-mechanics.I applied my knowledge of MEMS to the preparation proce of the micro-flow sensor produced by the company.For this project I looked up a large amount of technical literature, which also involved much translation for those who could not read in English.My English improved considerably, after many hours spent in the library reading IEEE publications.In this environment, I remain a fast learner, because I have learned how to learn, not just what to learn.I in fact learned some of the computer programming software, such as Visual Basic, Visual C++, and Delphi, on my own.
I plan to complete my degree objective I 3 to 5 year and hope that I will be able to further my knowledge I areas including Solid Mechanics, Materials Science and Procees, CAD/CAM, etc… After completing my graduate study, I will return to contribute my learning to my country.I plan to work as a researcher or an engineering.

本次presentation从准备到展示我们准备了很长时间，我认为我们小组为这次presentation作出了巨大的努力。在此我十分感谢我们小组的其他三位伙伴。同时我也十分感谢老师对我们PPT的仔细查阅，给我们提出了宝贵的意见和建议。尽管这次展示没有达到我们预期的效果其中还有很多不足之处，但是我认为我们还是取得了巨大的成功。这种成功是展现在方方面面的。
首先是学习方面。通过这次PPT的制作和展示，我们学到了很多东西。从展示内容本身来说我们在搜集资料的过程中深入的了解了美国电影的方方面面，对美国电影的成型发展及其成功的原因有了深刻的认识。其次在PPT制作方面，虽然主要是由苏晗同学操刀，但是我们也从他那里学习了怎样制作一个精美的PPT。同时我们的资料是从网上找的中文自己翻译，虽然借助了翻译工具，但是我们都逐字逐句的进行了校正，这极大地提高了我们的英语翻译能力和对一些西方本土文化的了解。在做展示的过程中，我们从一些不足之处中吸取了一些教训。例如不能为了PPT的精美而忽视台下观众无法看清内容，毕竟一个展示的内容是很重要的，同时在做展示的时候尽量不要放音乐，这样会影响做展示同学的演讲。这些都是宝贵的经验，为我们将来做演讲和展示更加完善打下了坚实的基础。
除此之外，我们通过这次展示极大地提升了我们小组的合作能力，从PPT制作的内容确定，展示方式的确定，都经过了集体讨论。在PPT制作的过程中我们四人分工明确，组长即我负责翻译，金磊和宫富强负责找资料，苏晗负责制作PPT。从PPT本身来说我认为我们的PPT不论是从内容还是本身精美程度都是十分不错的，这是我十分骄傲的地方。而这个PPT我们只用了一天的时间就完成了。这并不是说明我们不认真，而是表明我们集体的高效合作能力。在这个方面我和我的组员还是十分满意的。毫不夸张的说在生活方面我们寝室可以说是少数的十分和睦团结的寝室之一，而这样的团结放在这样的集体活动之中，就转化为了高效。
最后谈一谈我认为最重要的一点，即自主思考和吸取意见。在这次展示的过程中最大的问题是字体大小和颜色的问题，在老师提出之后我们没有进行改正。我认为我们的错误并不在于没有听从老师的意见，而是在于没有认真思考具体情况而做出选择。我认为作为一个大学生并不是以前的初高中的学生，我们不能盲目的听从老师的命令，而是应该有自己的思考。当时在老师提出这个问题和改进意见的时候，我们讨论认为，整个PPT的基调便是一种黑白灰三种基色调为主的PPT，这样会使我们的PPT看上去高端大气一些。而小字也是为此服务的。所以我们没有听从老师的意见进行改变。但是就像我前面说的那样我们应该考虑具体情况，这种具体情况包括展示的实际效果和观众的反应。现在想想如果再考虑一下老师说的情况将我们想要的效果和展示的实际情况结合，听一听其他同学的意见，说不定我们就可以解决二者不可兼得的的问题。因此我认为我们这次最大的失误不在于没有听从，这恰恰是我们从高中像大学思想转变的一个优点。而我们最大的失误在于没有认真思考实际情况，没有平衡自主思考和听取他人意见这二者的关系。而今后我们在遇到类似的问题的时候我们会进行更多更深一步的思考，力求达到完美。
这便是我们这次Presentation 的总结。同时再一次感谢老师对我们的指导。
